When non-profits work together, the mutual benefits to the organizations and the community at large can be powerful. For the second consecutive year, Jessica Stevens Community Foundation partnered with KTNA (Talkeetna Community Radio) for their Spring Membership Drive to help raise funds for the Upper Susitna Food Pantry purchase food. As a fundraising incentive, for every $20 that KTNA received in memberships and donations during their drive, JSCF pledged the cost of 1 lb of food for the Pantry. Thanks to the generosity of local listeners, not only did the radio station raise critical operating funds, but a total of 251 lbs of food was purchased for the Pantry. A win, win, win for all — Together we make our community better!
