Time is approaching for local nonprofit organizations to apply for the Jessica Stevens Community Foundation’s Healthy Community grants!
A total of $12,000 may be dispersed this year, more than has ever been available during other grant cycles. Grants are intended to support organizations and programs in the Talkeetna, Trapper Creek, Susitna and Caswell region that serve community members in areas such as health, education, human services, arts and culture, and the preservation and enjoyment of the natural environment.
JSCF is accepting online grant proposals between May 28th, 2014 and July 26th, 2014 at 9:00 p.m. Grant proposals can be for specific projects or for operating expenses. To help support a broad range of nonprofit organizations active in our community, the 2014 JSCF grant awards will range between $500 to $5,000. Since 2008 JSCF has awarded a total of 37 grants totaling $46,180!
