In 2026, the Alaska Community Foundation (ACF) has a matched grant initiative for the Jessica Stevens Community Foundation (JSCF) and all of their affiliates to increase food security.
Grant Details
Timeframe: January – December 2026
Grant Category: Grant must be specific to food security
Match Rate: This is a 2:1 match
For example – $200 awarded by JSCF will be matched by $400 from ACF. This means the organization receiving the grant will be awarded $600
Amount requested: In order to serve as many local organizations as possible we are capping grant request from JSCF at $500 (which means that with the ACF match the organization will receive $1500).
How to Apply
Send a written request to jessicastevens@alaskacf.org.
The requesting organization must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in good standing both based in and directly serving the Talkeetna, Trapper Creek, or Sunshine communities. Applications should be no longer than one page and clearly describe the food related need and impact for the food security related funding
Reporting
A concise report is required within one year of the funds received. A photo of the project is requested when possible.
