JSCF receives $32,000 from the Talkeetna Bachelor Society

On December 3rd, 2022, single women from around the state gathered in Talkeetna for the infamous annual fundraiser, the Talkeetna Bachelor Society Auction. This year the combined total raised auctioning a group of brave men blew all previous records out of the water, raising $75,000! One of Jessica Stevens Community Foundation’s endowed funds is our Talkeetna Bachelor Society Fund for Women and Children in Crisis. Each year a portion of the funds raised from the auction are deposited into this fund. This year $32,000 was added, a new record. The earnings from this invested fund are used to support organizations that help women and children in crisis within the Upper Susitna Valley.
